Sleeping Like a Baby

Do you Sleep like a baby? Well you don't have to actually sleep like a baby, but sleep is one of the most essential parts of life, and one that is often pushed aside by the consuming tasks of daily life. If you feel that you are too busy to get a full night’s sleep, consider that sleep deprivation, both in the short- and long-term, causes serious adverse health effects.

Sleep should be a priority in your life as it plays a dramatic role in your overall health--much like proper nutrition and regular exercise. Without enough sleep, your body will be challenged to reach its optimal state of health. Sleep is important to allow the body to heal and repair. So if you aren't sleeping well then your body isn't repairing itself.

The time of day is also important when getting your beauty sleep. The more hours that you can sleep before midnight and in synch with the sun, the better off you will be. So going to sleep at 9 or 10pm is much better than going to sleep at 12 or 1 am.

If you find yourself lying awake at night, unable to sleep, you may be one of the many people who have problems sleeping due to anxiety, stress or other emotional challenges. For these types of concerns, biofeedback works remarkably well and can help to induce a peaceful night.

If you are not familiar with Biofeedback and would like to learn more, please contact me at the office.

Hot Flashes Anyone?

Are you losing sleep because of Hot Flashes or Night Sweats? I have been hearing a lot about this these days. Sleep is one of your most important ways to heal and recover. So if you are losing sleep please pay attention and don't take this lightly.

Biofeedback reduces or eliminates the intensity of your symptoms, often in just minutes.

Biofeedback is the new way to spell relief from menopausal symptoms. If you are between the ages of 40 and 58 menopause is either approaching or already staking a claim in your life.

Will you do what many women do and resign yourself to suffering through this troublesome time? Or would you rather approach menopause with a proven healing tool at your fingertips so you can minimize those hot flashes, night sweats, chills and other debilitating symptoms?

Menopausal relief is likely for 80% of women. It doesn't have to be all downhill from here.

The Whole Body Healing Center offers biofeedback sessions that can help bring you back to a realistic level. These sessions are only $45.00. Don't waste another day wishing you could do something for this horrible symptom.

Thermography for Breast Disease

We have been doing Thermography at the Whole Body Healing Center for over 5 years now. I have been amazed by this technology ever since I was introduced to it. I don't understand why this isn't more publicized in the mainstream media or maybe I do and just don't want to believe it. Thermography should be a screening that every women should have done if they are truely concerned about the health of their breast. The cost of a screening is only $210.00, in some cases that is less than it cost to put one tire on your SUV. For more info on Thermography, check out our website at www.wholebodyhealingcenter.com

Do You Take Insurance?

This is a question that I have been hearing for over 10 years now. Does your auto insurance pay for your tune-ups or tire rotations, or transmission break downs? I don't think so. Does your home owners insurance pay for your new fence or even pay for your A/C when that goes out? No it doesn't. Unfortunately we don't accept insurance either. We are considered more preventative. If you have medical insurance, you are really covered for the trauma health care services, and that is important to have. You shouldn't expect insurance to cover you for the preventative services. Sure it would be nice, but the system isn't set up that way. Sure Co-pays sound nice and seem like you are getting more than you pay for, but are you really?

Summer Heat Will Dehydrate You

Make sure you are drinking your water this summer. You should be drinking at least 3/4 your body weight in ounces everyday to keep your body hydrated. That means a 100 lbs person will need to drink 75 ounces of water each day to keep the body hydrated. The best way to intake water is to drink about 4-6 ounces every 30 minutes throughout the day. The worst way to intake water is to drink 40 oz in one setting. The body can't absord most any of that water.

Its also a good Idea to take a great liquid vitamin and mineral supplement. We are recommending VIBE from Eniva.
