Organic vs Non Organic

People are always asking me if i only eat organic. I wish the answer was "yes", but its not. Often times when going to grocery store there isn't a good selection of organic produce or meat. I get what is available at that time. Price also plays a role in my selection and most of you know that organic food is much more expensive. So when working with a budget, its not always feasible. Now i do think its important to get the best quality food you can buy. You are what you eat and if you are eating junk, then you probably will feel like junk. I also think its important that you get the organic fruits and vegetables that are more exposed to the pesticides. Bottom Line is organic/clean food is important, but its not the end-all. Get what your budget allows you to get.

You just got to shop smart when buying organic. Sure on the average, I spend a few more pennies, but I shop sale items as much as possible. Just the other day, I was in the store and found organic fruit on sale for $1.29/lb while the conventional fruit was $1.99/lb. When it comes to my health, I prefer to make up the difference by letting a few other things go, like my pharmaceutical drug cabinet, and prescription drugs!
